Could any Graph be Turned into a Small-World?
In addition to statistical graph properties (diameter, degree, clustering, ...), Kleinberg [7] showed that a small-world can also be seen as a graph in which the routing task can be efficiently and easily done in spite of a lack of global knowledge. More precisely, in a lattice network augmented by extra random edges (but not chosen uniformly), a short path of polylogarithmic expected length ca...

This article reports a pelvic hydatid cyst in a 10-year-old boy who initially presented with right flank pain. Computed tomography (CT) revealed a cystic lesion containing internal densities, which was found to be a hydatid cyst between the bladder and rectum during surgery. The lesion was excised and sent to a pathology laboratory for further examination.
متن کاملIt CAN be a Small World After All: Physical and Digital Media Connect to Support Cross- Cultural Exposure
Young children are accustomed to learning through play and interaction with physical objects. Our tool builds on that natural learning process by transparently linking artifacts to digital material. Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology can be used to tag these items so that children can activate multimedia learning modules automatically. We will demonstrate the LAMBERT (Language Acq...
